Bomb Threat at KFC in Haryana: Police Investigating

Hisar, Haryana: A KFC outlet near Ramayan Toll Plaza in Hansi, Hisar district received a bomb threat, prompting a swift response from local authorities. The call, made by an unidentified individual, reportedly originated from the Sonipat area, although the number was registered in Barwala.

Police are currently working to confirm which KFC location the threat was directed at and have heightened security in the vicinity. The Cyber Cell has also been deployed to analyze the threat and trace its origins.

Police Statement

Hansi SP Amit Yashvardhan stated that while it is possible the call was a prank, the police are taking no chances. Full precautions have been implemented to ensure the safety of staff and customers. The KFC manager, Ashok, confirmed that police visited the restaurant around 10 a.m. on Saturday to inquire if any suspicious calls had been received. Ashok said no such call had been received at the outlet.

Strategic Location

The KFC is situated near Hisar Cantt, approximately 7.5 km away, an area that sees significant weekend traffic. The restaurant operates with a staff of six, and the manager hails from Safidon in Jind district.

Authorities continue to investigate the threat carefully, ensuring maximum security while probing the origin of the call.
