
Ajmer, Rajasthan: Security agencies were thrown into high alert following a bomb threat targeting the Dadar Express at Ajmer Railway Station, just days after the car blast at Delhi’s Red Fort. The alarming tip-off claimed that the train could be blown up, prompting an immediate response from police and senior officials.
Rapid Response by Security Forces
On Wednesday, 26 November, Ajmer police, GRP, RPF, and Clock Tower Police, along with senior officers, rushed to the station to investigate. The dog squad, metal detectors, and bomb disposal team were deployed, and all incoming and outgoing passengers were thoroughly checked. Stationed trains were also inspected to ensure safety.
Three Suspects Taken into Custody
Information revealed that three young men in an auto-rickshaw were allegedly discussing plans to blow up the train. Upon receiving this tip-off, authorities quickly moved in and detained the suspects. Their mobile phones were seized, and their call details are being scrutinized. Interrogations are underway to confirm the seriousness of the threat and the nature of the conversation.
