BLOs to Conduct Door-to-Door Visits Under Special Voter List Revision Programme

Under the Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls 2025, the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of Indore district will begin door-to-door visits from November 4 as per the schedule issued by the Election Commission of India. During this exercise, BLOs will personally reach out to every household, distribute enumeration forms, and collect necessary voter-related information.

To ensure smooth execution of the programme, training sessions have been conducted for all BLOs across assembly constituencies. The training covered detailed guidelines related to voter list correction, filling of enumeration forms, and the procedures for new voter registration, inclusion, deletion, and address transfer.

According to the District Election Office, the primary objective of this campaign is to ensure that every eligible citizen’s name is accurately included in the voter list. Officials emphasized that citizen participation and cooperation are vital to achieving a comprehensive and error-free electoral roll.

The special revision campaign marks a crucial step toward strengthening democratic participation by ensuring no eligible voter is left behind.
