Bloody Clash Over ‘Chicken Chili’ in Bihar: Young Man Stabbed, Condition Critical

Nawada, Bihar: A violent altercation over a plate of chicken chili in Nawada’s Ghasiyaadi village left a young man critically injured after being repeatedly stabbed with an automatic knife. Rajesh Manjhi, the primary victim, was initially treated at a local hospital and later referred to Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) for advanced care. Another man, Amarkant Kumar, also sustained injuries in the incident.

Incident Details
The clash occurred on Monday night when Rajesh Manjhi and his friends, including Gopal Kumar, were enjoying chicken chili in the village. According to reports, a group of 3–4 men approached them and started a verbal dispute, which quickly escalated into a physical fight. During the altercation, one attacker repeatedly stabbed Rajesh Manjhi on his thigh and arm, leaving him bloodied and collapsed.

Meanwhile, Amarkant Kumar suffered a head injury after being struck with a brick during the scuffle. Gopal Kumar recounted that the trouble began when one of the assailants verbally abused them and temporarily left the scene, only to return moments later to launch a violent attack.

Police Investigation Underway
The assailants, numbering 5–6, fled the scene immediately after the attack. Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. Rajesh Manjhi’s condition remains critical at PMCH, while Amarkant Kumar continues to receive treatment for his injuries.
