Blood-Soaked Body of Man Found in Nawada Village; Wife Flees as Police Arrive

Nawada (Bihar):
A shocking incident of suspected murder has surfaced from Bihar’s Nawada district, where the blood-soaked body of a 43-year-old man was found under mysterious circumstances in Chhoti Amma village under the Nemdarganj police station area.

The deceased has been identified as Gaju Chaudhary. Preliminary investigations suggest that he may have been beaten to death following a domestic dispute, though the exact cause of death is yet to be officially confirmed.

The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday night, triggering panic and tension across the village.

Wife Escapes From Scene

Upon receiving information about the incident, police rushed to the spot and found the victim lying in a pool of blood. The victim’s wife was present at the scene initially, but fled immediately after the arrival of the police.

According to the Dial 112 response team, when officers asked her to accompany them in the police vehicle for questioning, she made an excuse and suddenly escaped from the spot. Her disappearance has raised serious suspicion and has become a key focus of the investigation.

Victim Declared Dead at Hospital

Police shifted Gaju Chaudhary to the Nawada Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

History of Domestic Dispute

Police officials stated that the couple had a history of frequent quarrels, and a case related to family dispute had earlier been registered at the local police station. Investigators believe the incident may be linked to ongoing domestic tension, though no conclusion has been drawn so far.

Family Members Missing; Son Remains Silent

Following the incident, no family member has come forward to record a statement. It has been reported that several relatives left the house after the death and are currently absconding.

Police brought one of the deceased’s sons to the hospital for questioning, but he reportedly refused to make any statement regarding the incident.

Case Under Investigation

Station House Officer Manish Kumar said the death is being treated as suspicious, and the real cause will be ascertained only after the post-mortem report is received.

Police have launched a search operation to trace the absconding wife and are questioning local residents as part of the ongoing investigation.
