Blast at Railway Spring Factory in Gwalior Injures Five Workers, Treated in Private Hospital

Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh: A gas leak caused a major blast at the Railway Spring Factory in Sithouli, Gwalior, on Thursday, leaving five workers injured. The injured are currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Blast Occurs During Maintenance Work
According to reports, employees of M/s Taikisha Company were performing maintenance on a machine at the factory when LPG gas leaked from the equipment. A spark triggered an explosion and fire, engulfing five workers who were directly involved in the maintenance. Other workers nearby were unharmed.

Fire Quickly Brought Under Control
Emergency fire-fighting equipment was used to control the blaze, but not before five workers sustained burn injuries. The injured employees have been identified as Hemant Chaubey, Yogesh, Amar Singh, Kaushal, and Mohammad Sabir. Police officers arrived at the factory soon after the incident and also visited the private hospital to check on the condition of the workers.

Current Condition of Victims
Three of the five injured workers are reported to be in serious condition, while their overall condition is stable. Authorities, including police and local administration, are monitoring the situation. The company has resumed work to repair the damaged machinery.
