BJP to Replicate Bihar Model in Bengal, Assam, and Tamil Nadu; Strategy to Be Finalized at JP Nadda’s Delhi Dinner

New Delhi: Following the spectacular NDA victory in Bihar, the BJP is now turning its focus to upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam, and Tamil Nadu. The party aims to replicate the strategies and expertise that led to its success in Bihar in these key states.

To chart this course, BJP President JP Nadda has organized a dinner on 26 November at his Delhi residence, inviting senior leaders who played a pivotal role in Bihar’s campaign. The meeting will serve as both a celebration of Bihar’s win and a forum to finalize the party’s strategy for other states.

Alongside Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Bihar election in-charge Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and state in-charge Vinod Tawde will attend the dinner. Over 50 MPs and leaders deployed for election management in various states are also expected to participate. It remains unconfirmed whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present.

Agenda of the Meeting
The primary focus will be on reviewing the Bihar campaign, identifying key success factors, and creating a roadmap to implement these strategies in West Bengal and Assam. The party aims to strengthen ground-level campaigning, booth management, and community engagement in the upcoming elections.

State In-Charges Appointed
The BJP has already appointed election in-charges for Bengal and Tamil Nadu. Union Minister Bhupender Yadav will lead Bengal, assisted by former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, while Baijayant Panda and Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol will oversee Tamil Nadu.

Bengal Divided into Five Zones
For West Bengal, the party has divided the state into five zones, each led by a state general secretary (organization) and a senior leader. M. Siddharthan, organization general secretary from Himachal Pradesh, has been assigned to Kolkata and South 24 Parganas, assisted by senior leader CT Ravi.

Full Force Deployment Across Key Regions
Pawan Rana, Delhi organization general secretary, will manage Howrah, Hooghly, and Medinipur, supported by Haryana leader Sanjay Bhatia. In Medinipur division, UP State Minister JPS Rathore will also contribute. Other zones will see deployment of leaders including Uttarakhand Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, former UP Minister Suresh Rana, and former Union Minister Kailash Choudhary.

With this strategic mobilization, the BJP intends to channel the momentum from Bihar to consolidate its position in Bengal, Assam, and Tamil Nadu, ensuring a strong ground-level presence across all critical constituencies.
