Mumbai, Jan 30: Navnath Ban, media in-charge of the BJP’s Maharashtra unit, expressed confidence on Friday that Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar would be cleared of all allegations in the alleged irrigation scam case.
Speaking to reporters, Ban was responding to remarks by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, who had stated that the BJP’s withdrawal of allegations would be the “true tribute” to Pawar, who tragically died in a plane crash on Wednesday.
Ban emphasized that the matter is currently sub judice and cautioned against raising political issues while the state mourns Pawar’s untimely demise.
