Connecting Seven Districts, Benefiting 19 Towns
The expressway will run through Aurangabad, Gaya, Jehanabad, Patna, Vaishali, Samastipur, and Darbhanga districts, directly benefiting 19 small and medium towns along the route. In Patna, the expressway will cross the Ganga via the “Kacchi Dargah-Bidupur Six-Lane Bridge,” significantly improving connectivity between northern and southern Bihar.
Updates on Darbhanga-Jaynagar and Elevated Corridor Projects
During the parliamentary discussion, Darbhanga MP Gopal Ji Thakur raised concerns regarding pending work on the Darbhanga-Jaynagar stretch (NH-527B) and the slow progress of the Darbhanga Elevated Corridor. Minister Tamta assured that the Darbhanga-Jaynagar project would be completed by the next financial year. He also urged the state government to coordinate on the elevated corridor and ROB (Rail Over Bridge) construction to expedite work.
