Patna, Bihar: As the Bihar assembly elections heat up, BJP senior leader and former Union Minister Ashwini Choubey has launched a blistering attack on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Mahagathbandhan’s Chief Ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav, calling them “Natwarlals” of Delhi and Bihar, respectively. He also demanded that RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav’s bail be canceled and that he be sent to jail.
“One Bihar’s Natwarlal, One Delhi’s Natwarlal”
Addressing the media in Patna, Choubey said that Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav are cut from the same cloth. “One is Bihar’s Natwarlal, the other Delhi’s Natwarlal. They are part of the same league, misleading people with their antics,” he claimed. He added that the Mahagathbandhan has no substantive agenda, and their sole aim is to create confusion and mislead the electorate.
BJP Confident of NDA Victory
Choubey expressed confidence in the return of the NDA government in Bihar, praising public participation in the first phase of voting as a “resounding endorsement.” He stated, “The people have given their 100% support to the NDA. Nitish Kumar will continue as Chief Minister.”
He also targeted Tejashwi Yadav, warning, “His dream of assuming power will not be fulfilled. He will be the chief inmate of the jail post-elections.”
Lalu Yadav’s Role Under Scrutiny
On Lalu Prasad Yadav’s election campaigning, Choubey accused the former Chief Minister of promoting criminals and indulging in violent tendencies. He demanded that the court cancel Lalu’s bail and place him in a jail hospital, asserting that his continued presence outside could incite violence.
Choubey’s remarks come ahead of the second phase of voting on November 11, with results scheduled for November 14, intensifying the political discourse in Bihar.
