Bihar Woman Murdered by Lover She Was Ready to Leave Husband and Children For

In a shocking turn of events in Bihar’s Siwan district, a woman was allegedly murdered by the very lover she was willing to elope with, leaving her husband and children behind. Police have arrested the woman’s lover along with an accomplice in connection with the case.

Victim Identified

The deceased has been identified as Shahnaz Khatoon. Her body was discovered under suspicious circumstances on 21 November in Basawanbadi village, under the jurisdiction of Badharia Police Station. Following a written complaint from her family, a first information report (FIR) was filed on 23 November.

Lover Commits Murder Over Jewelry and Cash

Investigation revealed that Shahnaz had an extramarital relationship with Saif Ali, who was allegedly being pressured by her to marry her. She was reportedly willing to take her valuables, including cash and jewelry, and leave her husband and children for him. However, Saif Ali was not prepared to fulfill her demands.

Driven by greed for the jewelry and cash at her residence, Saif Ali, along with his accomplice Riyaz Ahmed, allegedly strangled Shahnaz with a dupatta inside her home. They then stole valuables and cash amounting to ₹93,300 before fleeing.

Investigation and Arrests

Both Saif Ali and Riyaz Ahmed have been arrested by the police. Recovered from their possession were several stolen jewelry items and the cash taken from Shahnaz’s home. Shahnaz’s husband reportedly works in Dubai, while she stayed in Siwan with her children.

The police continue their investigation into the gruesome crime, highlighting the deadly combination of passion, betrayal, and greed.
