Bihar Weather Update for 25 January 2026: Unseasonal Rain Likely in Muzaffarpur, Siwan, Saran, and Gopalganj

Patna, Bihar: The chill continues in Bihar, although temperatures have risen slightly in several districts. On Saturday, the sun played hide-and-seek across Patna and other areas.

Current Weather Scenario
Over the past 24 hours, Bihar’s weather remained mostly dry. Maximum temperatures across the state ranged between 23.8°C and 28.1°C, showing little variation. The lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 6.9°C in Sabour (Bhagalpur), with statewide minimum temperatures ranging from 6.9°C to 13.5°C. Visibility dropped to as low as 600 meters in Purnia.

Rain Forecast in the Coming Days
Bihar is expected to remain dry over the next four days. However, light rain is forecast in some parts of northwest and north-central Bihar after this period. Maximum and minimum temperatures are not expected to change significantly in the next five days.

Districts Likely to See Rain
According to the Patna Meteorological Centre, light rainfall is expected in one or two areas on 28 January 2026 in West Champaran, East Champaran, Saran, Siwan, Gopalganj, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Samastipur, and Shivhar. The rest of the districts are expected to remain dry.

Temperature Outlook
Maximum temperatures across Bihar are expected to range between 24°C and 28°C, while minimum temperatures will hover between 10°C and 14°C.
