Bihar: Tej Pratap Yadav Accused of Assault by Close Associate, Shocking Allegations Surface

Patna, Bihar: Tej Pratap Yadav, eldest son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and leader of Jan Shakti Janata Dal (JJD), is once again embroiled in controversy. His former associate, Saurabh alias Avinash, has leveled serious allegations against him, claiming that he was brutally beaten, stripped, and recorded in a compromising video by a group of 20–30 men at Tej Pratap Yadav’s government residence. The video has reportedly gone viral on social media.

Details of the Alleged Incident
According to Saurabh, the incident occurred after he returned from a reception party organized by Khan Sir’s brother on Sunday. Tej Pratap allegedly confiscated his mobile phone and later summoned him to his official residence at 26 [government address] to retrieve it. Once inside, Saurabh claims he was separated and mercilessly beaten by a group of 20–30 men present in the residence.

Saurabh alleged that Tej Pratap accused him of electoral misconduct, which he vehemently denied. Emotionally recounting his ordeal, Saurabh said he had worked tirelessly for Tej Pratap since 2015, campaigning day and night during elections, only to face humiliation in return. He claimed that during the assault, his clothes were forcibly removed, and a compromising video was recorded and circulated online.

Additional Allegations
Saurabh also claimed that he was forced to verbally abuse other party members, Subodh Rai and Satyendra Rai, and when he refused, the beatings intensified. His mobile phone was reportedly held from 9 PM to 1:30 AM, and the tires of his vehicle were punctured. According to him, those present witnessed the assault but did not intervene. He described the incident as a reflection of Tej Pratap’s “disturbed mentality.”

Legal Action and Political Repercussions
Saurabh has expressed his intention to pursue legal action against Tej Pratap Yadav. The viral video has stirred Bihar’s political landscape, raising serious questions about JJD’s internal functioning and Tej Pratap’s leadership style.
