Bihar Police Bust ‘All India Pregnant Job Service’ Scam; Two Arrested for Defrauding People of Lakhs

Nawada, Bihar: In a bizarre cyber fraud case, the Nawada police have exposed a racket operating under the name “All India Pregnant Job Service”, which allegedly promised large sums of money to men and women in exchange for making women pregnant. Two accused have been arrested in connection with the scam from Hisuwa police station jurisdiction.

Fraud Scheme Details

The gang reportedly lured victims by offering ₹10 lakh to women for becoming pregnant, while also promising jobs. The accused charged a registration fee under the pretext of providing this service. The scam targeted infertile women and unemployed men, exploiting their vulnerabilities.

According to SP Abhinav Dhiman, multiple complaints about the fraudulent service led to the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) by the cyber police. Using technical surveillance and human intelligence, the SIT raided a house in Manwan village, Hisua, and apprehended the accused.

Accused Identified

The arrested individuals have been identified as Ranjan Kumar (son of Sukhdev Prasad) and Devnandan Kumar (son of Anil Prasad). At the time of arrest, the accused were still in contact with victims over mobile phones, offering loans at low rates and promising employment for “pregnancy services.”

Previous Frauds and Investigation

During interrogation, the accused admitted to defrauding people of lakhs of rupees using schemes like “All India Pregnant Job” and “Playboy Service”. They convinced victims to pay registration fees, promising ₹10 lakh for making women pregnant. Similar cases had been reported last year as well.

The SIT team, including Cyber SI Rahul Dev Varman and constables Chunchun Kumar, Suraj Kumar, and Subhash Kumar, conducted the operation. Both accused have now been sent to jail, and further investigation is ongoing.
