Bihar: Kajal Jhamb Appointed as Buxar’s District Judge, 48 Hours After DM Sahila Heer’s Posting

Just 48 hours after the appointment of District Magistrate (DM) Sahila Heer, the Patna High Court has appointed Kajal Jhamb as the new Principal District Judge of Buxar. This appointment is historic as it marks the first time in nearly 25 years that a woman has been entrusted with this position in the district. The last female officer to hold this role was Justice Rekha Kumari in 2000, who later became a judge of the Patna High Court.
