Bhopal on Edge: Severed Calf Head Found, Police Take Control

Tension gripped the Lal Kothi area of Bhopal on Friday morning after a severed calf head was discovered in the bushes along Vidisha Road. The shocking find drew large crowds, including activists from Hindu nationalist organizations, prompting authorities to deploy additional police forces to maintain law and order.

Local residents alerted the police upon discovering the calf head, and the authorities immediately secured the scene. Activists from Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) quickly gathered at the site, expressing outrage and conducting a search for other possible remains. So far, only the severed head has been recovered, which has been sent for forensic testing.

Activists Demand Action:
Bajrang Dal cow protector Vinod Johare condemned the act, alleging that antisocial elements were attempting to disturb communal harmony in the city. Demonstrators raised slogans demanding that the perpetrators be arrested promptly. They also cited prior incidents of cow slaughter in areas such as Nishatpura and Gandhinagar, emphasizing the need for strict action.

Police Investigation Underway:
Authorities from Chola Mandir Police Station are in alert mode. CCTV footage from key routes leading to the site is being scrutinized to identify the individuals responsible. Preliminary investigations indicate that a dog may have dragged the severed head from the bushes, drawing the attention of local residents. Police have intensified efforts to identify the culprits while maintaining peace in the area.

The incident has heightened tensions in the capital, and officials continue to monitor the situation closely to prevent any escalation.
