The tragic incident has once again raised serious concerns regarding road safety on NH 719, particularly during night-time traffic. Local residents and the Sant community, who have been demanding highway widening for the past two years, emphasized that this stretch is becoming increasingly dangerous due to narrow lanes and high-speed vehicles.

Experts highlight that night-time overspeeding is especially lethal, and long-distance drivers must take regular breaks. They stress that controlling speed and maintaining vigilance are critical to prevent such accidents.

SP Bhind Asit Yadav confirmed that the injured were taken to the district hospital, with the most critical cases referred to Gwalior for advanced treatment.
