Bhadohi Head Constable Suspended Over Indiscipline and Alleged Assault

Bhadohi, UP: In a shocking development from Bhadohi, Head Constable Dheeraj Yadav, posted with Dial 112, has been suspended for indiscipline following an altercation and physical confrontation with a young woman and her brother. The incident reportedly occurred while Yadav was on leave.

According to police sources, Yadav, previously posted at Koirouna Police Station on Dial 112 duty, had developed a personal connection with the young woman. While on leave, he returned to the Koirouna area, where a verbal dispute escalated into a physical fight on Wednesday evening. Eyewitnesses claimed that Yadav appeared intoxicated at the time and behaved aggressively, creating chaos in the locality.

Police Response and Suspension
Local police rushed to the scene and brought the situation under control. The matter was immediately reported to senior officials. Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhimanyu Manglik confirmed that Yadav has been suspended with immediate effect for violating police conduct rules. SP Manglik stated that the officer’s behavior was contrary to police regulations and that a departmental inquiry will be conducted. Additionally, a case has been filed against the young woman and her brother for their involvement in the altercation.

Message to Police Personnel
This incident has raised concerns about law and order and the dignity of the police uniform within the department. SP Manglik emphasized a strict warning to all police personnel: “Any officer or employee violating rules will not be spared.” Dheeraj Yadav is currently being interrogated, and a CO-level officer has been assigned to oversee the investigation.
