Betrayed Wife Ends Life After Discovering Husband’s Hidden Family

Gwalior: In a tragic case of deceit and heartbreak, a woman committed suicide after discovering that her husband, whom she married six months ago, was already married and a father of two children. The victim, Vaishnavi alias Prachi, recorded a video before taking her life, holding her husband, Raju Bhadouria, and his family responsible for her death.

Marriage Amidst Family Opposition
Vaishnavi, a resident of GDA Colony, had married Raju, also known as Satyanarayan Bhadouria of Purani Chhawni, six months ago in a temple and on a stamp paper, despite strong opposition from her family. After their marriage, the couple moved into an apartment in East Meridian Multi, located in the Sirol police jurisdiction, where they began living as husband and wife.

Horrifying Discovery
A few months into the marriage, Vaishnavi learned that Raju was already married and had two children. Shocked by this revelation, she confronted him at his residence, where she met Raju, his first wife, and his father. During the visit, it is alleged that Vaishnavi was physically assaulted, causing immense mental and emotional trauma.

Suicide and Video Evidence
Overwhelmed by humiliation and distress, Vaishnavi returned to her apartment and hanged herself using her dupatta. Before ending her life, she recorded a video message, explicitly stating that her husband and in-laws were responsible for her death.

Police Action
The Sirol police arrived at the scene after being informed and took the body for post-mortem. The video recorded by the victim has been seized and is under investigation. Police have also begun recording statements from family members, and further legal action will be taken based on the findings.
