Bengaluru Bodybuilder Kiran Dies by Suicide After Alleged Betrayal, Leaves Note Blaming Girlfriend and Her Mother

In a tragic incident from north Bengaluru, a 26-year-old gym trainer and bodybuilder allegedly died by suicide after learning that his girlfriend was engaged to another man. The deceased, identified as Kiran, was found hanging in his room at his residence in Geleyaara Balaga Layout, Mahalakshmi Layout, on Saturday evening.

According to reports, Kiran left behind a suicide note in which he reportedly held his girlfriend and her mother responsible for his death. Police have registered a case and initiated further investigation.

Relationship of Three Years Ends in Shock

Police sources stated that Kiran had been in a relationship with the woman for nearly three years. Family members told authorities that he had been mentally disturbed for the last two weeks after his girlfriend informed him that her engagement had been fixed elsewhere.

The family claimed that the woman not only revealed the engagement news but also showed him the wedding invitation card and a sari meant for the marriage, leaving him emotionally shattered.

Planned Valentine’s Day Celebration, But Could Not Handle the Pain

Relatives revealed that Kiran had been planning to celebrate Valentine’s Day with his girlfriend and was preparing to give her gifts. However, the sudden reality of her upcoming marriage reportedly broke him completely.

Asked His Mother for Paper and Pen Before Taking the Step

On the day of the incident, Kiran returned home and asked his mother for a blank sheet of paper and a pen. When she questioned him about the reason, he allegedly assured her not to worry, saying that he needed it for writing details related to financial transactions.

Later, when Kiran did not respond to calls from inside the room, family members became suspicious. They reportedly broke open the door and found him hanging.

Suicide Note Mentioned Mobile Password

When police arrived at the scene, they recovered a suicide note in which Kiran allegedly blamed the woman and her mother. He also reportedly wrote his mobile phone password in the note, possibly to assist investigators in accessing key evidence.

Family Claims He Spent His Entire Earnings on Girlfriend

Kiran’s family alleged that he had spent a significant portion of his income on the woman, including helping her repay debts. They claimed she had promised to marry him and had introduced him to her family, which strengthened his belief that the relationship would lead to marriage.

Kiran was known locally as a dedicated gym trainer and had participated in several bodybuilding competitions.

Police Investigation Underway

The body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Based on the complaint filed by the family, Mahalakshmi Layout Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter from all angles, including the authenticity of the suicide note and the circumstances that led to the extreme step.
