Banda Man Commits Suicide Amid Allegations of Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law Affair

Banda, Uttar Pradesh: A shocking incident unfolded in the Marka police station area of Banda, where a man allegedly took his own life following mental stress linked to a purported illicit relationship between him and his sister-in-law.

According to reports, 28-year-old Kuldeep, a resident of Armar village, hanged himself in the thatched shed of his home on Thursday night. The next morning, when his sister tried calling him, there was no response. Family members rushed to the scene, broke open the shed, and found Kuldeep’s body hanging from a rope. The police were immediately informed and took the body into custody for post-mortem examination.

Kuldeep’s cousin revealed that he lived with his wife and two children in Kurra Parsoli village under the Kamasin police jurisdiction. Both his parents had passed away earlier. During this period, he allegedly developed a romantic relationship with his sister-in-law, who reportedly became pregnant. The matter came to light when her relatives, including her uncle and grandfather, filed a complaint at the Kamasin police station.

Following the complaint, the police summoned Kuldeep for questioning. His father and cousin also visited the station. After discussions and mediation by the police, Kuldeep was released and taken back home to Armar. However, overwhelmed by stress and emotional pressure, he reportedly ended his life the same night.

Kuldeep is survived by his wife, a son, and a daughter. He was the eldest among three brothers.

Marqa Police Station in-charge Bhaskar Mishra stated that prima facie, the case appears to be a suicide. He added that the alleged romantic involvement has not yet been officially recorded by the police.
