Banda, UP: Devotees in Banda and neighboring districts will soon get a rare opportunity to witness the divine discourse of Bageshwar Dham’s head priest, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. Known for his spiritual guidance and blessings, Shastri Ji has previously visited Chitrakoot to seek blessings from his guru, Ram Bhadracharya, but this will be his first visit to Banda for narrating the sacred Hanuman Katha.

The grand event, scheduled from 16th to 20th January 2026, is being organized by the Bundelkhand Youth Foundation. Foundation founder Praveen Singh confirmed that following Shastri Ji’s recent discourse in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, he has formally agreed to conduct the Hanuman Katha in Banda. Preparations are already underway at full pace. A vast pandal is being constructed, along with arrangements for sound, lighting, and other essential facilities to accommodate the devotees.

Foundation members described the event as “divine, magnificent, and spiritually uplifting,” emphasizing that the sacred teachings and blessings of Shastri Ji will benefit not only Banda but the entire Bundelkhand region. Highlighting his contribution to promoting Sanatan culture worldwide, they noted that devotees from across India are eager to witness his divine presence. Shastri Ji’s inspirational endeavors, including historic pilgrimages from Delhi to Vrindavan involving millions of followers, continue to ignite devotion and spiritual awakening.

This event promises to be a landmark occasion, bringing together devotees in large numbers to experience the teachings and spiritual energy of one of India’s most revered spiritual leaders.
