Bageshwar Dham’s Dhirendra Shastri Issues Stern Warning: “Madrasa Clerics Should Create Doctors, Not Militants”

Faridabad/Delhi: In the wake of the terror blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, Baba Dhirendra Shastri, head of Bageshwar Dham, has issued a stern warning, urging madrasa clerics to guide children toward constructive paths. Addressing the media during the Hindu Sanatan Ekta Padayatra in Haryana, Shastri emphasized that his pilgrimage had been a potential target in a bid to intimidate Hindus.

Message to Madrasas

Speaking passionately, Shastri said, “Madrasa teachers must aim to nurture children into becoming great doctors like Dr. Kalam, not radicals like Dr. Mulla. Failure to do so will bring difficulties to the entire community.” He highlighted that the Delhi blast was a terrorist act and warned that the Padayatra itself had been under threat.

Padayatra Progress and Reception

The Hindu Sanatan Ekta Padayatra, now on its seventh day, received a grand welcome at the Kotwan toll plaza. BJP MP from Jharkhand, Nishikant Dubey, also participated in the event. Shastri began the Padayatra from Delhi on November 7, heading towards Vrindavan Dham, with plans to continue until November 16.

Comments on National Security and Public Health

Shastri also touched upon the recent security operations following the Faridabad explosives seizure and the Delhi blast, noting that several doctors linked to investigations were being questioned, with five arrests made. Speaking candidly about the community, he said, “My health is fine, but more importantly, the well-being of Hindus is my priority. We have embarked on this journey to protect them.”

Context: Delhi Blast

The Red Fort blast on November 7 resulted in 13 deaths and 20 injuries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the injured after returning from Bhutan. The NIA, along with Delhi, Haryana, and Jammu & Kashmir police, is leading the investigation.

Shastri warned the community to remain vigilant, stating, “Wake up, Hindus. We have come to safeguard your well-being. Even now, you can never predict when danger might strike.”
