Badaun, Uttar Pradesh: A deeply disturbing incident has emerged from the Dataganj area of Badaun district, where a six-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by two minors. The accused, aged eight and fourteen, have been taken into police custody, and an investigation is underway.
Incident Details
According to the FIR filed by the girl’s father, the incident occurred on February 4 around 2:00 PM. The child had gone to a nearby field when the two boys, residents of the same locality, allegedly committed the assault. The girl returned home covered in blood and narrated the horrific ordeal to her family.
Police Response
Upon receiving the report, local police immediately reached the scene and took both minors into custody. Circle Officer K.K. Tiwari also visited the station to oversee the investigation. An FIR has been registered based on the complaint, and police are actively probing the case. The victim has undergone a medical examination, and the minors are expected to be presented before the Juvenile Justice Court and sent to a reform home.
