Badarpur Tops Delhi Police Stations, Shahdara and Bara Hindu Rao Follow

New Delhi: The Badarpur Police Station in South-East Delhi has been ranked the number one police station in the capital for its overall performance this year. Following closely, Shahdara Police Station secured the second position, while Bara Hindu Rao Police Station from North Delhi claimed third place. The awards will be presented on 16 February during the Raising Day Parade.

Top Rank Achieved Through Effective Operations

Badarpur’s top position was attributed to the success of Operations Aghaat I, II, and III, aimed at curbing organized crime and tackling local criminal activities efficiently. In recognition of exceptional performance, nine officers from the district received out-of-turn promotions, 29 personnel were awarded for outstanding work, and 18 officers were selected for the Commissioner’s Commendation Roll.

Shahdara Police Station Shines Again

Shahdara’s second-place ranking marks the second consecutive year it has been among the top three stations in the capital. The assessment considered several performance parameters, including high crime detection rates, effective case resolution, and speedy investigations.

Evaluation Criteria

Authorities also evaluated responsiveness to complaints, especially those related to women, children, and vulnerable groups. According to officials, the ranking aims to promote professional standards across Delhi’s police stations and enhance service delivery to residents.
