Back from Abroad, Tejashwi Yadav Springs into ‘Action Mode’: Late-Night Strategy Session with Lalu Prasad Yadav

Patna: RJD leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav returned to India after a nearly month-long foreign tour, and his first political move upon return has already sparked discussion in political circles. On Sunday night, after landing in Delhi, Tejashwi met with party supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav late Monday night at Lalu’s official residence at Pandara Park.

Political Pulse in Motion

Sources say the meeting was far more than a family visit. During hours of deliberation, Tejashwi and Lalu discussed Bihar’s current political landscape and charted the RJD’s roadmap for the future. Detailed discussions were held on reorganizing the party after the recent election defeat and strategizing ways to challenge the government as a robust opposition.

Responding to Opposition Attacks

During Tejashwi’s absence, both BJP and JD(U) had heavily criticized him, labeling his foreign visit as “running away after defeat.” However, his immediate engagement with Lalu Prasad Yadav signals to political rivals that he is now fully prepared to analyze the electoral setback and actively re-engage on the political front.

RJD Gears Up for Aggressive Opposition

As Bihar’s largest opposition party, RJD is reportedly planning a more proactive political approach. Speculation is rife that Tejashwi’s return could trigger major organizational changes within the party, alongside potential public outreach campaigns and statewide tours. The party is expected to roll out a new framework to challenge the government effectively in upcoming legislative sessions.
