Greater Noida: In a major development linked to an ongoing terror-funding investigation, the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Tuesday conducted a fresh raid at a company located in Kasna, Greater Noida. The raid comes days after the arrest of Farhan Nabi Siddiqui, the company owner, who is accused of publishing provocative literature capable of inciting communal tension.
Second Raid Without Prior Police Intimation
According to sources, the ATS team inspected registers, documents, employee records, and CCTV footage during the raid. Notably, the local police were not informed beforehand, indicating the sensitive nature of the operation and the need to maintain secrecy.
This is the second raid within a week. Officials confirmed that the ATS is scrutinizing every activity of the company following the detention of its owner.
Hate Literature Disguised as Ayurvedic Medicines and RO Machines
During the earlier action on November 7, the ATS arrested Farhan Nabi Siddiqui from the same establishment. Investigations revealed that the company was allegedly involved in publishing inflammatory books, which were being circulated under the guise of Ayurvedic medicines and RO water-purifier machines.
Officials suspect that these books were intended to fuel communal discord and possibly support radical networks financially.
ATS Intensifies Surveillance and Investigation
Since Siddiqui’s arrest, ATS teams have kept the company under continuous surveillance. Following the initial raid, officers executed a second search on Tuesday to gather additional evidence.
During the recent operation, the ATS reviewed:
- Company documents and financial records
- Employee attendance and movement logs
- CCTV recordings
- Delivery and dispatch data
Sources claim the operation was executed covertly to prevent any destruction of evidence.
Major Reveal Expected Soon
Officials familiar with the probe say the ATS is conducting an in-depth investigation and closely tracking links between the company’s publishing activities and suspected terror-funding channels.
There is speculation that a significant breakthrough in the case may be announced in the coming days.
