Jhansi, 29 November 2025: The railway authorities have issued an important advisory for passengers. Several trains running between Gwalior and Baruni and vice versa will be cancelled during December, while others will face regulation due to ongoing track doubling work on the Jhansi-Manikpur section.
Train Cancellations:
- Gwalior–Baruni Special (Train No. 04137): Runs via Jhansi on Wednesdays and Sundays; cancelled from 3 December to 28 December.
- Baruni–Gwalior Special (Train No. 04138): Runs on Thursdays and Mondays; cancelled from 4 December to 29 December.
Additional Disruptions Due to Track Doubling:
- 11 December: Trains 11801 (Gwalior–Prayagraj), 11802 (Prayagraj–Gwalior), 14109 (Chitrakoot Dham Karwi–Kanpur Central), 14110 (Kanpur Central–Chitrakoot Dham Karwi), 64613 (Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi–Banda), and 64614 (Banda–Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi) will remain cancelled.
- 5–11 December: Trains 64601 (Manikpur–Kanpur Central) and 64602 (Kanpur Central–Manikpur) will also not operate.
Railway officials have stated that these cancellations are due to unavoidable operational reasons and the ongoing non-interlocking work between Khurhand–Dingwahi–Banda stations on the doubling project.
Passengers are advised to check train schedules in advance and plan their travel accordingly. Some trains may also be regulated or rescheduled during this period.
