Hamirpur: Due to ongoing track doubling work on the Banda–Kanpur railway section, several trains have been cancelled till December 11, while many others will operate with significant delays. Passengers traveling towards Kanpur, Manikpur, and other destinations have been advised to check the updated schedule before planning their journey.
According to the Railway Department, major trains including Durg–Kanpur, Kanpur Central–Manikpur, and services towards Lokmanya Tilak Terminus will be affected during this period. Several trains will also run under regulation, with extended halts at multiple stations.

The affected region includes key stations such as Bharua Sumerpur, Ragaul, Ichouli, Yamuna South Bank Patyora, and Hamirpur Road Baripal, from where thousands of passengers commute daily to Kanpur and nearby districts.
