Jaipur/Jhunjhunu: Passengers traveling on the Kota-Sirsa train in the coming days are advised to note an important update from the North Western Railway. Due to ongoing technical work, the route of the train will be temporarily altered on 4th, 6th, and 8th December.
Temporary Route Change
The technical work at Dudhwa Khara station on the Churu-Sadulpur route has necessitated this temporary diversion. During these three days, the train will operate via the Jhunjhunu route instead of its regular Churu-Sadulpur path. The North Western Railway has issued this alert to ensure passengers who have already planned their journey according to the old route do not face inconvenience at the stations.
Stations on the Revised Route
On the temporary route, the train will halt at Nawalgarh, Mukundgarh, Jhunjhunu, Chidawa, Surajgarh, and Loharu stations. Normally, the train runs via Jhunjhunu on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, while it travels via Churu on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. Due to this change, all trips on the specified dates will operate via Jhunjhunu.
Timing Details
- Departure from Kota: Scheduled to reach Jhunjhunu at 7:56 AM
- Return from Sirsa: Scheduled to reach Jhunjhunu at 9:05 PM
Update on Sampark Kranti Express
Additionally, the Sampark Kranti Express, which runs between Sikar and Delhi Sarai Rohilla twice a week, has been upgraded to an electric engine from 21 November. The switch from diesel to electric power will reduce pollution, increase train speed, and improve schedule adherence. This train runs on Wednesday and Friday each week.
Passenger Advisory
Railway authorities have urged passengers to check the updated routes and timings before traveling to avoid inconvenience. Travelers on the Churu-Sadulpur route are advised to exercise particular caution, as lack of awareness may lead to difficulties at the station.
