Army Day Parade in Jaipur: 52 Viewing Blocks Set Up in Jagatpura, Entry Only with Passes

Jaipur, Rajasthan:
For the first time, the Army Day parade will be held outside a military cantonment and in the midst of the public in Jaipur. On January 15, the Jagatpura area will witness a grand Army Day parade, drawing massive public enthusiasm. To ensure smooth viewing and crowd management, the administration has created 52 designated viewing blocks, and entry will be strictly allowed only with valid passes.

The parade will take place along a 2.5-kilometre stretch, starting from Akshaya Patra Circle and concluding at Bombay Hospital. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, along with ministers, public representatives, and senior army officers, is expected to attend the event.

Four Categories of Viewing Blocks

Special arrangements have been made on both sides of the road for spectators. The 52 blocks are divided into four categories — S, B, C, and LC.

  • Most blocks are equipped with chairs for seated viewing
  • Some blocks are standing zones
  • Separate VVIP enclosures with sofa seating have been arranged for dignitaries

Location of S and B Category Blocks

The S Category blocks are located on the western side of the parade route. There are 12 S-category blocks in total.

  • S-1 is located near the corner of Bombay Hospital
  • Blocks S-2 to S-10 follow consecutively
  • S-11 is near Akshaya Patra Circle
  • S-12 is situated opposite S-1, on the eastern side

Between S-1 and S-11, there are 9 B-category blocks.
Additionally, 10 LC-category blocks are located on the western side between the S and B blocks.

All C Category Blocks on Eastern Side

The C Category consists of 20 blocks, all located on the eastern side of the parade route.

Spectators assigned to C-category blocks are strongly advised not to approach from the western side, as crossing the parade route will not be permitted. Reaching the wrong side could require a 4–5 kilometre detour, causing delays and inconvenience.

  • C-1 block is located near S-12, close to Bombay Hospital
  • Blocks C-2 to C-19 follow sequentially
  • C-20 block is located near Akshaya Patra Circle

Advisory for Spectators

Authorities have urged spectators to reach their designated blocks by 8:00 AM, at least one hour before the parade begins. Due to large crowds, late arrivals may face difficulty accessing their blocks—even with valid passes.

With elaborate arrangements, high-level attendance, and unprecedented public participation, the Army Day parade in Jaipur is set to be a historic and memorable event, provided visitors follow the guidelines and reach the correct viewing zones on time.
