During Question Hour, MLA Verma highlighted the rising workload on existing JEN offices in his constituency and demanded that these offices be upgraded to the AEN level to ensure better services for the public.
Opposition Interference Escalates Situation
As Verma posed his questions to the minister, opposition members repeatedly interrupted him. Frustrated, Verma called on them to allow him to complete his question. His sharp response to the continuous interjections created a brief commotion in the Assembly.
Speaker Vasudev Devnani Intervenes
Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani stepped in to calm the situation, urging all members to maintain parliamentary decorum and allow Question Hour to proceed smoothly. Gradually, normalcy was restored.
Energy Minister Responds; Proposals to Finance Department
State Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar responded to Verma’s questions, confirming that offices in Badke Balaji and Goner meet the prescribed standards. He added that proposals for upgrading these offices have been sent to the Finance Department for further action.
