Another Pakistan Border Infiltration in Rajasthan: Youth Caught After Crossing into Barmer

Barmer, Rajasthan: In yet another case of cross-border infiltration, security agencies in western Rajasthan apprehended a Pakistani national who illegally crossed into India. The incident occurred along the India-Pakistan border in Barmer, where local vigilance played a key role in preventing the intruder from escaping.

How the Infiltration Unfolded
According to reports, a 25-year-old Pakistani youth crossed the border fencing into Rajasthan and attempted to hide. Locals spotted him near a livestock enclosure and immediately alerted authorities. The youth was identified as Hindal, son of Varso Bhil, from Navatala village in the Tharparkar district of Pakistan’s Sindh province. Upon confirmation of his nationality, he was handed over to the Border Security Force (BSF) for further investigation.

Security Response and Investigation
The BSF took the youth into custody and transported him to the district headquarters. He has since been handed over to the local police and will undergo interrogation by intelligence agencies to determine his motives. Authorities confirmed that no suspicious objects were found in his possession, but a detailed investigation is underway to ascertain the purpose behind his crossing into Indian territory.

Heightened Alert on Western Border
This incident comes amid heightened security in western Rajasthan following the recent car bomb blast in Delhi. Security forces along the India-Pakistan border remain on high alert, ensuring that such infiltration attempts are promptly detected and neutralized.
