Amethi: Woman Assaults Madarsa Molvi with Stick, Video Goes Viral

Amethi: In a disturbing incident from Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, a woman allegedly assaulted a madarsa teacher (Molvi) inside a room, beating him with a stick. The incident, reportedly from the Jamo area, has gone viral on social media, prompting local authorities to launch an investigation.

Video Shows Assault
The video circulating online shows the woman accusing the Molvi of misconduct with her daughter and repeatedly striking him with a stick. The Molvi can be seen pleading for mercy, raising his hands and crying out for forgiveness, while the woman continues the assault. Witnesses say she even threatened him, saying, “You silenced your wife and daughter with a cloth; your fate is in my hands.”

Police Investigation Underway
The Amethi police have taken cognizance of the viral video and are investigating both the Molvi and the woman involved. Officials are reviewing the footage to verify the identities and circumstances. Locals claim the woman has previously been involved in similar incidents and has a history of violent behavior, although the exact motive behind this attack is still unclear.

Background and Complaints
According to the complaint posted online by Sarvesh Kumar Singh, state head of the National Gau Raksha Vahini, the Molvi, identified as Haseeb from Bahmarpur village, teaches at a local madarsa. Singh’s complaint also mentions prior allegations against the Molvi involving a 15-year-old girl in a nearby area. The woman involved reportedly runs a shop in Jamo and had previously lodged complaints with the police regarding the Molvi.

Authorities are currently examining the case and verifying the claims, while the video continues to attract widespread attention across social media platforms.
