Patna: The investigation into the Aman Shukla murder case, which shook Patna’s Journalists’ Nagar area, has gained significant momentum. The police, based on preliminary findings, have taken three suspects into custody for interrogation. Authorities claim that the murder case will soon be solved.
Shukla, who was accused in a bank robbery case, was shot dead by unidentified assailants. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) and Special Task Force (STF) are now working together on the case, with important leads emerging during the ongoing investigation.
Focus on Three Key Angles:
The SIT team has investigated the crime scene and also conducted searches at Shukla’s residence located on Boring Road and Meethapur. The police are considering three major angles for the murder: financial transactions, a love affair, and a gang rivalry. These are being investigated further in the ongoing questioning of suspects.
Threat from Beur Jail:
Police sources have revealed that Aman Shukla received a death threat from Beur Jail about a week before his murder. Authorities have already identified who issued the threat and are planning to interrogate the notorious individual involved.
Movement from Meethapur to Boring Road Tracked:
Aman Shukla, who had been living with his wife and child in a rented apartment in Meethapur, had moved to Boring Road just the previous Saturday. On that day, he took his son to a hospital in Malahi Pakdi. It was during this trip that criminals, trailing him from Munnachak, shot him twice in the head near Vidypuri Park in the Journalists’ Nagar area.
CCTV Footage Captures the Assailants:
The assailants involved in the murder have been captured on CCTV wearing helmets and masks. The footage, recorded at 6:01 PM on Monday, shows the attackers in close pursuit of Aman, suggesting that they were familiar with his routine. Aman would often take his disabled son to physiotherapy sessions on Mondays, raising suspicions of involvement by someone close to him.
Crucial Clues from Call Detail Records (CDR):
Police have retrieved the Call Detail Records (CDR) of both Aman Shukla and the phone number from which the death threat was issued. Investigations are ongoing to trace the identity of the person behind the number and its origin. The CDR has already provided several important clues that are likely to aid the investigation.
