Akhilesh Yadav Seen Standing in Food Queue at Tilak Ceremony; Video Praising His Simplicity Goes Viral

The Saifai family is preparing for another grand celebration as Aryan Yadav, cousin of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, is set to marry Ladakh’s Sering on 25 November 2025. Sering is a practising lawyer in the Supreme Court of India, while her father, Ringzen Angchuk, is among Ladakh’s well-known contractors.

A video from Aryan’s tilak ceremony, held on 23 November, has gone viral on social media. In the clip, Akhilesh Yadav is seen standing modestly in a queue with a plate in his hand, waiting to collect food. Children from the bride’s side are seen ahead of him in line, highlighting the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s grounded nature.

Akhilesh Yadav also shared several photographs from the ceremony on his X handle. Social media users widely praised his simplicity, with many commenting that he continues to carry the discipline he learned during his days at military school.

Warm Welcome to Bride’s Family

Akhilesh and his wife, Mainpuri MP Dimple Yadav, were seen warmly welcoming guests from the bride’s side. Dimple interacted with the women from the groom’s and bride’s families, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

Who Is Aryan Yadav?

Aryan Yadav is the son of Rajpal Yadav, brother of late Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav. The wedding was originally scheduled for March 2025 but was postponed following Rajpal Yadav’s demise in January. Aryan’s elder brother, Abhishek Yadav, is the Etawah District Panchayat President, while their mother, Premlata Yadav, has also held the same post in the past.

Strong Academic Background

Aryan completed his early schooling in Etawah and studied from Class 7 to 12 at DPS Noida. He holds a B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University, followed by a BSc in Business from Cardiff University, UK. In 2019, he earned a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Sydney, Australia.

Who Is Sering?

Sering, the bride-to-be, is a practising advocate in the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court. Her father, Ringzen Angchuk, is a respected contractor in Ladakh. The alliance between the Saifai family and a prominent Ladakhi family has drawn attention for its cultural and social significance.
