Pune: The horrifying plane crash that claimed the life of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has shaken the state, and now CCTV footage of the incident has emerged, capturing the full sequence of events. The aircraft, en route from Mumbai to Baramati, lost balance during landing and crashed violently, resulting in a massive explosion. Flames and smoke engulfed the plane immediately after impact.
The CCTV camera, positioned a short distance from the site, clearly shows the aircraft hitting the ground, followed by the devastating blast and fire. The crash claimed the lives of Ajit Pawar and four others, sending shockwaves through political and social circles across Maharashtra.
Eyewitness Accounts
According to witnesses at the scene, the plane lost control just moments before landing and struck the ground with tremendous force, immediately igniting in flames. Onlookers rushed to assist, but the intensity of the fire made it impossible to reach the wreckage. The footage also shows towering flames and thick smoke rising from the crash site.
Some witnesses reported hearing secondary explosions following the initial blast, further heightening the chaos and fear in the area. When it was confirmed that Deputy CM Ajit Pawar was on board, people were left stunned. Authorities, including police and fire department teams, arrived promptly, and a detailed investigation into the cause of the crash has been initiated.
