Noida: After her grand rally in Lucknow on October 9 marking Kanshi Ram’s death anniversary, BSP chief Mayawati is gearing up for another major show of strength—this time in Noida. Preparations are in full swing for the tribute ceremony on December 6 at the Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal on the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Parinirvan Diwas.
A strategy review meeting, chaired by BSP’s Gautam Buddha Nagar district president Lakhmi Singh, was held on Wednesday. Senior functionaries from various divisions and districts of western Uttar Pradesh attended the session, signaling an aggressive organisational push.
Mayawati Becomes Increasingly Active After Lucknow Rally
Following the massive turnout in Lucknow, Mayawati has adopted a more active and assertive stance, aiming to send a clear message to her political opponents: BSP is preparing to rise strongly again in the 2027 Assembly elections. The upcoming Noida gathering is being viewed as the next step in her renewed political mobilisation.
Prominent leaders from the Meerut division—including Meghnand Jatav, Omprakash Kashyap, Rohtas Jatav, Govind Bhati, Balveer Valmiki, Gopichand Jatav, Prem Singh Jatav, Mahesh Prajapati, Yogendra Bhati, Manveer Bhati, Dayaram Sen, Manoj Jatav, Naresh Upadhyay, Rajkumar Gurjar, and Brahm Prakash—will be part of the organising leadership.
BSP Aims to Win Back Lost Support in NCR Region
Mayawati is particularly focusing on Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, and Bulandshahr—regions where BSP’s traditional voter base, especially Dalits and Muslims, has reportedly drifted over the years. Opposition parties have often accused the BSP of softening its stance under BJP’s influence, further contributing to the erosion of support.
To counter these perceptions, Mayawati showcased her strength through a massive rally in Lucknow. The upcoming Noida event is expected to reinforce her renewed political strategy.
“BSP Cadre Is Still Strong Booth-to-Booth” – District President
Noida district president Lakhmi Singh said the BSP cadre remains highly active and united at the grassroots level. He highlighted that BSP contested the Bihar elections independently and even secured one seat—reflecting the party’s confidence and organisational discipline.
He added that after the December 6 rally, party workers across the state will fully commit themselves to Mission 2027, pledging to work with complete dedication—physically, financially, and organisationally—to bring BSP back to power in Uttar Pradesh.
