Jaipur, Rajasthan:
Bageshwar Dham’s Acharya Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has once again emphasized the importance of Hindutva and Sanatan Dharma, urging the younger generation to remain rooted in traditional values. Speaking to the media in Jaipur on Wednesday night, Shastri highlighted the crucial role of the Vedas in shaping the future of children.
He warned, “Those who do not respect the significance of the Vedas will see their children become like ‘Javed’ and ‘Naved’,” implying a disconnection from traditional wisdom.
New Gurukul to Promote Vedic Knowledge
To preserve and propagate Vedic learning, Shastri announced plans to establish a Gurukul at Bageshwar Dham. He stated, “Food lasts for a day, water lasts for an hour, but knowledge stays with you for life. In the future, those who do not believe in the Vedas will lose touch with their heritage. Therefore, this Gurukul will focus on teaching the timeless wisdom of the Vedas.”
Welcomed by Devotees in Jaipur
Upon his arrival in Jaipur, Shastri was warmly received by enthusiastic supporters chanting ‘Bageshwar Baba Ki Jai’ and ‘Jai Shri Ram’. The Acharya blessed several devotees, placing his hands on their heads and offering guidance.
Appeal to Youth to Understand and Protect Sanatan Dharma
Shastri also made a direct appeal to the youth, urging them to understand and safeguard Hindu and Sanatan traditions. He stated, “The country will follow nationalism, not casteism, and we will live as Sanatanis, preserving our ancient heritage for future generations.”
The announcement has sparked interest among devotees and educational circles, marking a significant step in promoting traditional Vedic education through modern Gurukul initiatives.
