Mau, Uttar Pradesh: Abbas Ansari, the MLA from Mau, has received relief from the Supreme Court of India, which granted him regular bail in a case registered under the Gangster Act.
The Supreme Court, while granting the bail, imposed certain conditions. Abbas Ansari is required to comply with all the terms that were in place when he was initially granted interim bail. Along with the regular bail, the court has allowed him to travel outside Uttar Pradesh, provided he informs both the trial court and the local police beforehand.
To seek permission for travel, the MLA must share his contact details and the specifics of his intended itinerary with the authorities. Only after fulfilling these formalities will he be permitted to leave the state.
This development comes as a significant relief to Abbas Ansari, allowing him greater freedom while the legal proceedings in the Gangster Act case continue.
