
Bareilly: In a tragic accident highlighting the dangers of social media stunts, 22-year-old Mohammad Faizan lost his life while attempting to make a reel on an under-construction flyover in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. He slipped and fell onto heavy cement slabs, sustaining fatal injuries on the spot.
Faizan, who worked as a haircutter, had gone out on Friday evening around 5 pm with his friends. According to his father, Mehndi Hasan, the young man climbed onto slabs lying near the road leading to Bijauria Railway Station, which was under construction. While attempting to shoot a reel on a trending track, he slipped and fell, with one of the cement slabs falling on his head, killing him instantly.
Family Refuses Post-Mortem
The family is grief-stricken following the accident and has refused to conduct a post-mortem.
Tragically, this is not an isolated incident. Across Bareilly and several districts in Uttar Pradesh, young people have lost their lives while attempting social media reels and stunts in recent years, highlighting the growing risks associated with such online challenges.
