14-Year-Old Cricket Sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi Breaks Records, Wins National Recognition

Bihar’s young cricket prodigy, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, has taken his remarkable achievements all the way to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. At just 14 years of age, Vaibhav has reached milestones that many players can only dream of.

Honored at Rashtrapati Bhavan
Patna’s pride, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, added another historic accolade to his growing list of achievements. In a grand ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, President Droupadi Murmu presented him with the prestigious Prime Minister’s National Child Award. Following this honor, Vaibhav is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A Foodie with a Twist
Vaibhav’s childhood coach revealed some interesting anecdotes about the young cricketer’s eating habits. He has a strong preference for meat, particularly chicken and mutton, which he enjoys with great enthusiasm. This love for protein-rich food sometimes makes him appear a little stubborn. Interestingly, like any typical child, Vaibhav once loved pizza, but he has since given it up to maintain his fitness and focus on cricket.

A Record-Breaking Journey
Vaibhav received this prestigious recognition for his extraordinary performances in domestic cricket. Recently, he created a sensation in the cricket world by scoring a blistering 190 runs off just 84 balls against Arunachal Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. During this innings, he smashed a century in just 36 balls, setting a world record as the youngest player to score a List-A century. He also surpassed AB de Villiers’ record for the fastest 150 in List-A cricket. Thanks to his innings, Bihar posted a massive total of 574 runs in a 50-over match, setting a new world record.

Youngest IPL Debut
Vaibhav’s prodigious talent is further highlighted by his early entry into the Indian Premier League. At just 14, he made his IPL debut as an ‘Impact Player’ for the Rajasthan Royals. His aggressive style of play has left even cricket legends astonished at such a young age.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi is not just a cricketing sensation; he is Bihar’s rising star, an inspiration for young athletes across the nation, and a name that promises to leave a lasting mark in the world of cricket.
