WPL 2026: Women’s Premier League Final Set to Shower Prize Money, Winner to Earn More Than PSL Champion

The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 is heading into its highly anticipated final, where Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will face Delhi Capitals. The winning team will receive prize money exceeding that of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) champion.

Final Clash Details
The championship match will be held at the Baroda Cricket Association Stadium. RCB and Delhi Capitals will face off for the title, replicating the 2024 season final, which RCB won. Delhi Capitals have reached the final in each of the first three seasons but are still chasing their maiden WPL title.

Prize Money Breakdown
The WPL began in 2023, and since then, the prize money has remained unchanged. The winning team will receive ₹6 crore from the BCCI, while the runner-up will take home ₹3 crore. For comparison, the PSL winner earns approximately ₹4.5 crore. Individual awards will also be presented as follows:

Teams in Excellent Form
Both RCB and Delhi Capitals have been in strong form this season. RCB won their first five matches consecutively to secure a place in the playoffs, with their only loss this season coming against Delhi Capitals. Delhi Capitals advanced to the final by defeating Gujarat Giants in the Eliminator.
