
Vadodara: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) created history once again by winning the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 title, defeating Delhi Capitals (DC) by 6 wickets in the grand final played at the BCA Stadium on Thursday. With this win, RCB lifted their second WPL trophy, while Delhi Capitals endured heartbreak yet again, losing their fourth consecutive final.
RCB’s title triumph also brought a massive financial reward, as the champions were awarded a prize money of ₹6 crore, while runners-up Delhi Capitals received ₹3 crore.
Delhi Capitals Post 203/4 in the Final
Batting first after losing the toss, Delhi Capitals put up an impressive total of 203 runs for 4 wickets. The opening pair of Shafali Verma and Lizele Lee provided a solid start, adding 49 runs in 5.5 overs.

- Lizele Lee contributed 37 runs.
Delhi lost both openers by the time the scoreboard reached 72, but the innings was steadied by a crucial partnership between Jemimah Rodrigues and Laura Wolvaardt, who added 76 runs.
Jemimah played a brilliant knock, scoring 57 runs off 37 balls, hitting 8 boundaries, but despite her effort, Delhi could not capitalize fully at the end.
Later, Chinelle Henry (35 not out) and Laura Wolvaardt (44) stitched a valuable 54-run partnership for the fourth wicket, helping Delhi cross the 200-run mark.
For RCB, Sayali Satghare, Arundhati Reddy and Nadine de Klerk picked up one wicket each.
Mandhana-Voll Partnership Turns the Match
Chasing a huge target of 204, RCB lost Grace Harris early for 9, but what followed was a match-winning partnership led by captain Smriti Mandhana and opener Georgia Voll.
The duo added a stunning 165 runs in 92 balls for the second wicket, completely shifting the momentum in RCB’s favor.

- Georgia Voll scored 79 runs off 54 balls, hitting 14 boundaries.
Late Wickets Create Tension, Radha Yadav Finishes It
After Voll’s dismissal at 174, RCB suffered a mini-collapse as they lost Richa Ghosh (6) and Mandhana in quick succession, making the contest tense once again.
However, Radha Yadav held her nerve in the final moments and played a decisive cameo of 12 runs off just 5 balls, smashing two boundaries to take RCB home.
RCB completed the chase in 19.4 overs, winning the final by 6 wickets.
For Delhi Capitals, Chinelle Henry was the standout bowler with 2 wickets, while Nandini Sharma and Minnu Mani claimed one wicket each.
