Varma, batting at number three, scored a quick 38 runs off 24 balls, including three boundaries and two sixes. He looked comfortable at the crease, showcasing his trademark reverse sweep against spin bowlers. His innings came to an end when he was dismissed by Shubham Ranjane.

Wicket with First Ball
Tilak also contributed with the ball, taking a wicket on his very first delivery, dismissing opening batsman Andrej Goss, who was well-set on 44 runs. He bowled just one over in the match, highlighting his part-time bowling skills.

With this performance, Tilak is set to join the main T20 World Cup squad. He remains a key player for Team India, with 1,183 runs in 40 T20 Internationals at an average of 49, making him one of the most consistent performers among batsmen with over 500 T20I runs.

India A Wins by 38 Runs
India A posted a formidable total of 238/3 in 20 overs, powered by wicketkeeper Narayan Jagadeesan’s 104 off 55 balls, including 11 fours and five sixes. In reply, the USA fought well but managed 200 runs, with Sanjay Krishnamurthy scoring 41 off 18 balls, giving India A a comfortable 38-run victory.
