The 3 USA Players Who Could Trouble Pakistan, One Is Actually Pakistani-Born

New Delhi: The ICC T20 World Cup 2026 continues, and today, February 10, Pakistan faces the USA in a group-stage match in Sri Lanka. In this game, three American players could prove to be a major threat to Pakistan.

Back in the 2024 T20 World Cup, the USA had stunned Pakistan by defeating them in a Super Over. Here’s a look at the three key USA players who could once again cause Pakistan trouble.

Mohammed Mohsin
Born in Mingora, Pakistan, Mohammed Mohsin is now a leg-spinner for the USA. He impressed with his bowling in the USA’s first match against India, conceding only 16 runs and picking up one wicket. On spin-friendly pitches like those in Sri Lanka, Mohsin could be a nightmare for his birth country, Pakistan.

Saurabh Netravalkar
Mumbai-born fast bowler Saurabh Netravalkar has the ability to trouble Pakistan’s batting line-up. Although he was expensive against India, he is a quality bowler. In the 2024 T20 World Cup, Netravalkar had an excellent record against Pakistan, taking 2 wickets for just 18 runs.

Monank Patel
USA captain Monank Patel, of Indian origin, can also cause major problems for Pakistan. In the 2024 T20 World Cup, he scored a quick fifty against Pakistan, making 50 runs off 38 balls and earning the Player of the Match award. He has the potential to play another impactful innings in today’s clash.

These three players will be ones to watch as Pakistan takes on the USA, with history suggesting another thrilling encounter is on the cards.
