Australian cricket legend Alyssa Healy has announced her retirement from all formats of international cricket. The iconic wicketkeeper-batter will play her final matches during the upcoming multi-format home series against India in February-March 2026.
Farewell Series Against India
The 35-year-old Healy, one of the most influential figures in women’s cricket, has chosen the lone Test against India at Perth’s WACA Ground as her final international appearance. She will not participate in this year’s T20 World Cup, stating that it is time for the Australian team to transition to a new leadership and nurture the next generation of talent. In her farewell message, Healy acknowledged that while her passion for the game remains, the moment to step aside has arrived.
A Stellar Career

An explosive wicketkeeper-batter, Healy has scored over 3,500 runs in One Day Internationals and more than 3,000 runs in T20 Internationals. Among her most memorable innings is her marathon 170-run knock in the 2022 ODI World Cup final, which remains one of the standout performances in women’s cricket.
Known for her aggressive batting and exceptional agility behind the stumps, Alyssa Healy leaves the game as one of the greatest wicketkeeper-batters in cricket history, setting a benchmark for future generations.
