New Delhi, Feb 17: Former Pakistani all-rounder Shoaib Malik is once again in the social media spotlight — this time for a viral video from a live show where he attempted to flirt with a female guest, only to receive a witty and firm response.
The Flirtation and the Comeback
In the clip, Malik is seen trying to engage the woman playfully. At one point, he says, “No, no, it won’t happen like that. Speak nicely.” The woman quickly replies, “Why are you getting serious? This is a joke.”
Malik then jokingly adds, “You’ve just met me. You won’t know when I’m serious or when I’m upset.”
The woman responds with a sharp comeback, “Why even find out? You’re married, I’m married. What’s the point?” This leaves Malik laughing and the moment ends on a humorous note.

Born in Sialkot, Malik, now 44, has had a prolific career for Pakistan:
- Tests: 35 matches, 1,898 runs (3 centuries, 8 fifties), 32 wickets
- ODIs: 287 matches, 7,534 runs (9 centuries, 44 fifties), 158 wickets
- T20Is: 124 matches, 2,435 runs (9 fifties), 28 wickets
He also played in the 2008 IPL, scoring 52 runs and taking 2 wickets in 7 matches.
