The medal was also visible in a group photo with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the team’s official visit to his residence in Delhi. It was initially thought that teammate Amanjot Kaur had lent her medal for the photo, but Pratika has now officially received her own medal.

Pratika scored 308 runs in 6 innings, including one century and one half-century, making her India’s second-highest run-getter after Smriti Mandhana. Her injury in the Bangladesh match led to Shafali Verma replacing her for the semi-final and final.
