Mumbai: Music composer Palash Muchhal was spotted at the Mumbai airport for the first time since his wedding with Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana was postponed. The couple had earlier planned to tie the knot on 23 November in Sangli, but the ceremony was put on hold following a sudden deterioration in Smriti’s father’s health.
Palash appeared at the airport with his mother and a few family members. While he did not interact much with the media, he did not avoid the paparazzi either. In a now-viral video, Palash is seen dressed in black, holding a book in his hand as he exits the airport. He simply nodded at photographers, maintaining a low profile and keeping the moment personal.
Background: Why the Wedding Was Postponed
The highly anticipated wedding was deferred after Smriti Mandhana’s father was urgently hospitalized due to health complications. Following this, reports emerged claiming that the stress surrounding the situation had taken a toll on Palash as well, leading to him being admitted to a hospital for a brief period.
Smriti Deletes Engagement Posts
In a surprising move, Smriti Mandhana removed all engagement videos and pre-wedding posts from her social media handles after the postponement. The couple has not released any official statement regarding the new wedding date or their future plans, leaving fans curious and concerned.
Palash’s latest public appearance, however, suggests that he is gradually getting back to normal life. Fans are now eagerly waiting for the couple to share an update and announce a fresh wedding date soon.
